Request for Evidence or Appeal

Many clients become concerned when USCIS has issued a Request for Evidence. Such a request simply means that USCIS does not have sufficient or complete information to make a decision in your case. Requests for Evidence may be as simple as a request for a document such as a birth certificate or may be as complex as questioning several elements of your filing including the basis for eligibility.
